The gentle waves push towards the mangrove as the huge tides of the Kimberley meet the vibrant red Pindan shoreline. This image represents two views, the first is the top down view as shot. The second is more interpretive; the Pindan dirt represents the earth and forms the 'tree trunk' and the leaves and roots represent its 'branches' reaching towards the blue sky. This multiple, internationally awarded image was captured along the shore of Roebuck bay in Broome, Western Australia.
